Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair

Sensor Replacement:





Replacement
1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

CAUTION: The oxygen sensor will be very hot when engine has been operated.

2. Remove the heated oxygen sensor.
3. Install the new heated oxygen sensor.

Tightening torque: 22-36 ft-lb (29-49 N.m)

4. Connect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
