Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor

ECT sensor is a thermistor whose resistance decreases as engine coolant temperature increases. ECM uses ECT sensor information for controlling fuel enrichment when engine is cold. Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor is located near thermostat housing.
