Vehicle Speed Sensor

Vehicle speed sensor is mounted on transaxle. Raise and support vehicle. Block one drive wheel. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Backprobe and measure voltage at VSS connector terminal No. 3 (Green/Orange wire) while assistant spins free drive wheel. Voltage should alternate between 1 and 10 volts as wheel is rotated. If voltage does not alternate as specified, replace and adjust VSS.
