DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Response time of Lean to rich (TLR) & Rich to lean (TRL) are monitored with intentional A/F change
  • Poor connection
  • HO2S deteriorated
  • Leak in exhaust system
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Closed loop Engine coolant > 120.2 °F (49 °C)
  • Load value 25 ~ 60% Engine speed 1187 ~ 3000 rpm
Threshold value
  • From lean to rich (TLR) > 1.3 sec
  • From rich to lean (TRL) > 0.8 sec
Diagnosis Time
  • 8 sec continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
