Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Inspection

  1. Prepare a voltmeter and connect it to FTP pins as shown.

  2. After 20 min. idling, inspect the voltage.

    System voltage: 5V

    At acceleration: Max. 4.5, Min. 0.5V

  3. At idle, inspect that voltage fluctuates to accelerate RPM up and down.
    NOTE: If voltage is not within specification, there is leakage and inspect the fuel tank and hoses toward canister and fuel neck. Then repair or replace relevant parts.
