DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal stuck.
  • Contact resistance in connections.
  • Faulty ECT sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage > 6V
  
Threshold Value
  • TCOmodel increase > Threshold
  • But TCOmeas increase < Threshold (Threshold depends on Coolant start temp.)
Diagnostic Time
  • 10~30 min. depending on start temperature
