Coolant Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Service and Repair

ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

REMOVAL

NOTE: Engine coolant temperature sensor is located near thermostat.

1. Disconnect engine coolant temperature sensor connector.




2. Remove engine coolant temperature sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. Install a new washer and engine coolant temperature sensor onto engine.

Tightening Torque: 18 - 22 lb-ft (25 - 29 Nm, 2.5 - 2.9 kg-m)

2. Connect engine coolant temperature sensor connector.




3. Start engine and check for coolant leakage.
