Inspection Procedures (Self-Diagnosis)
NOTE:
- When the battery voltage is low, diagnostic trouble codes can not be read. Be sure to check the battery for voltage and charging system prior to starting the test.
- Diagnosis memory is erased if the battery or ECM connector is disconnected.
Inspection Procedures (using Hi-scan)
- Turn OFF the ignition switch
- Connect Hi-scan to the data link at the lower part of crash pad.
- Turn ON the ignition switch
- Use the Hi-scan to check the diagnostic trouble code.
- Repair the faulty part referencing the diagnosis chart.
- Erase the diagnostic trouble code.
- Disconnect the Hi-scan.
