Communication K Line Inspection

Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF" and Using a scan tool, clear the DTC.
Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect the battery negative cable, then disconnect the positive cable, and wait at least one minutes.
Disconnect the WCS MODULE from the WCS wiring harness.
Disconnect the SRSCM from the WCS wiring harness.
Measure resistance between terminal 1 of the Communication K LINE wiring connector and chassis ground.
■ Specification: approx. 1 Ω below

Is the measured resistance within specifications?
YES
- Go to "WCS RESET " procedure.
NO
- Substitute the SRS main harness or WCS Module or SRSCM and check for proper operation.
  If the problem is corrected, replace SRS main harness WCS Module or SRSCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure and Go to "WCS RESET " procedure.
