Component Inspection

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Remove "TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH".
  3. Measure the resistance between each terminal of the transaxle range switch.

    Specification: approx. 0 Ω

  4. Is resistance within specifications?

    YES  : --> Substitute with a known-good PCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace PCM as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO  : --> Replace "TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH" as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
