Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect "TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH" and "PCM" connector.
  3. Measure resistance between each terminal of the sensor harness connector and PCM harness connector.

    Specification: See TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS CHART .

  4. Is resistance within specifications?

    YES  : --> Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

    NO  : --> Check for open in harness. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
