Repair Procedure: Inspection
- Check the select cable for proper operation and for damage.
- Check the shift cable for proper operation and for damage.
- Check the boots for damage.
- Check the boots for wear abrasion sticking, restricted movement or damage.
- Check for the weak or damaged spring.
