Repair Procedures: Installation

NOTE:

Install the control cable (B) and clip (A) on the bracket.

Install the washer (B) and pin (A).

Tighten the nut (B) after install the retainer (A).
Tightening Torque:

11.8 ~ 14.7 N.m (1.2 ~ 1.5 kgf.m, 8.7 ~ 10.8 lb-ft)

Install the cable socket (A) on the shift lever assembly.

Install the shift cable (B) and clip (A).

Shift lever to "3rd".
Install the snap pin (A) after install the select cable (B).
CAUTION:
- Install the snap pin (A) after adjust the select cable (B). (Refer to "ADJUSTMENT ")

Install the floor console assembly.
(Refer to "FLOOR CONSOLE ")
Install the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to "BATTERY for 2.0L or BATTERY for 1.8L")
Install the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to "AIR CLEANER for 2.0L or AIR CLEANER for 1.8L")
