Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the driver crash pad lower panel.
Refer to CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL REPLACEMENT .
Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds.
Refer to SHROUD REPLACEMENT .
Remove the wiper switch.
Refer to REMOVAL .
Remove the ignition switch after disconnecting the ignition switch 6P connector (A)

Remove the key warning/immobilizer connector (A).

After loosening the screw, remove the key warning switch and key Illumination (A).

Remove the key lock cylinder (A).
