Component Inspection

■ Check OTS performance 

1. IG Key "OFF".
2. Disconnect OTS connector.
3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 1(signal) terminal and Pin No. 2(ground) terminal of the OTS. (Component Side)

   Specification:  Refer to SPECIFICATION 

   Temperature(°C/°F)	Resistance(kΩ)
   -40°C (-40°F)	52.15kΩ
   -20°C (-4°F)	16.52kΩ
   0°C (32°F)	6.0kΩ
   20°C (68°F)	2.45kΩ
   40°C (104°F)	1.11kΩ
   60°C (140°F)	0.54kΩ
   80°C (176°F)	0.29kΩ

4. Is the measured value within specification?

   YES 

   • Go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

   NO 

   • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
   • If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the EOTS and go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
