Check ECTS Performance

  1. IG KEY "OFF".
  2. Disconnect ECTS connector.
  3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 4(Signal) terminal and Pin No. 3(Ground) terminal of the ECTS. (Component Side)

    Specification:  Approx. 1.9 kΩ at 25°C(77 °F) & 0.505 kΩ at 65°C(149 °F)

  4. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the ECTS and go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
