PCSV Inspection

■ Perform PCSV Actuation Test 

1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
2. IG KEY "ON" & ENG "OFF".
3. Perform "Actuation Test" for "Canister Purge Valve".

■ Inspect PCSV 

1. IG Key "OFF".
2. Disconnect PCS connector.
3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 2(Power) terminal and Pin No. 1(Control) terminal of the PCSV.

   Specification:  Approx. 2.0kΩ(20°C)

■ Confirm Part Inspection 

1. Does the PCSV operate properly? (Check variation)

   YES 

   • Go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

   NO 

   • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
   • If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the PCSV and go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
