Component Inspection

■ Perform HO2S(S2) Heater 

1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. IG KEY "ON" & ENG "OFF".
3. Perform "Actuation Test"  for HO2S(S2) Heater.

■ Inspection HO2S(S2) Heater 

1. IG Key "OFF".
2. Disconnect HO2S(S2) connector.
3. Measure resistance between heater power and heater control terminal of the HO2S(S2) Heater. (Component Side)

   Specification:  Approx. 9.0Ω(20°C) (68°F)

■ Confirm Part Inspection 

1. Does the HO2S(S2) Heater work properly? (Check variation)

   YES 

   • Go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

   NO 

   • Substitute with a known-good HO2S(S2) and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace HO2S(S2) and then go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
