DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check LIN communication
  1. "Rain Sensor/wiper motor" LIN line
  2. "Rain Sensor/wiper motor" LIN line short to battery
  3. "Rain Sensor/wiper motor" LIN line short to ground
  4. LIN communication line protocol error from electrical noise
Enable Conditions
  • IG key "ON", Engine "OFF"
Threshold Value
  • LIN data (RAIN SENSOR) is not received to BCM or wiper motor
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediately
DTC Erasing Time
  • Erased DTC after solved problem
