PCSV Inspection

■ Perform PCSV Actuation Test 

1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. IG KEY "ON" & ENG "OFF".
3. Perform "Actuation Test" for "Canister Purge Valve".

■ Inspect PCSV 

1. IG Key "OFF".
2. Disconnect PCS connector.
3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (Power) terminal and Pin No. 1 (Control) terminal of the PCSV.

   Specification:  Approx. 2.0 kΩ (20°C)

■ Confirm Part Inspection 

1. Does the PCSV operate properly? (Check Variation)

   YES 

   • Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Carefully redo this troubleshooting guide steps.
   • If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the PCSV and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
