Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front seat assembly [LH]

    (Refer to Body - "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  3. Remove the front seat shield outer cover.

    (Refer to Body - "FRONT SEAT SHIELD OUTER COVER ")

  4. Loosen the front seat cushion rail mounting bolts (A).

  5. Loosen the IMS unit mounting screws (A).

  6. Remove the IMS unit (A) after disconnecting the connnectors (B).
