DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Signal circuit open
  3. Signal circuit short to battery
  4. Ground circuit open
  5. TPS
  6. ECM
Case 1 Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • TPS1 voltage is higher than 4.9V
  • TPS1 signal is short to power/open
Case 2 Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Engine idle
  • TPS target value is less than 21.8%
  • Proportion error between TPS1 and TPS2 or faulty of TPS2
Threshold Value
  • TPS1 voltage is higher than 3.0V during engine idle
  • TPS1 signal is short to power/open
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous inspection
MIL On Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
