Monitor KDS/GDS Data

Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Ignition "ON", Engine "ON" (Cold condition)
Check the "Current Data" about related DTC with KDS/GDS.
Specification: Refer to Fig 1, Fig 2

Figure above: When the engine cold start, the O2 sensor heater is raised up to about 80%. The O2 sensor is controlled to about 30 to 42% after a predetermined time.

Figure above: A: The fuel trim takes approximately 21s until it is activated after engine start.

Are the parameters displayed correctly?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECM's connector or was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Go to "WIRING INSPECTION " procedure.
