DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the reversal time of HO2S (down) during the fuel cut operation (rich -> lean)
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. HO2S (Bank2/sensor2)
  3. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Detects the operational readiness of the O2 (down) sensor
  • Internal resistance of HO2S (down) is lower than 3000Ω
  • Catalyst temperature (value of model) is higher than 400°C
  • O2 (down) sensor voltage is higher than 0.6V (Fuel cut mode entry)
  • Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
Threshold Value
  • Response time of HO2S (down) is lower than 1500mv/s during the fuel cut operation
Diagnostic Time
  • 3 times or more detected during the fuel cut operation
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the reversal time of HO2S (down) during the fuel cut operation (lean -> rich)
Enable Conditions
  • Detects the operational readiness of the O2 (down) sensor
  • Intake air is more than 100g after the fuel cut operation
  • Intake air is more than 10g and less than 250g
  • Catalyst temperature (value of model) is higher than 400°C and lower than 1774.5°C
  • The exhaust gas temperature (value of model) of sensor location is higher than 400°C
  • Internal resistance of HO2S (down) is lower than 3000Ω
  • Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
Threshold Value
  • Response time of HO2S (down) is lower than 1500mv/s during the fuel cut operation
Diagnostic Time
  • 3times or more detected during the fuel cut operation
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
