DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Signal circuit open, short
  3. Ground circuit open
  4. EOTS
  5. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage higher than 10V and lower than 16V
  • Coolant temperature higher than -9°C (15.8°F) or above 300s after engine "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Oil temperature lower than -39°C (-38.2°F)
  • Signal circuit of sensor is short to power or open
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous inspection
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
