Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF" & Disconnect HO2S (B1/S1) connector.
  2. Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (Nernst Voltage) terminal of HO2S (B1/S1) harness connector and chassis ground.
  3. Measure resistance between Pin No. 3 (Virtual Ground) terminal of HO2S (B1/S1) harness connector and chassis ground.
  4. Measure resistance between Pin No. 6 (Pumping Current) terminal of HO2S (B1/S1) harness connector and chassis ground.
  5. Measure resistance between Pin No. 4 (Trim Resistor) terminal of HO2S (B1/S1) harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  ∞ (Infinity)Ω

  6. Is the measured resistance within specification?

    YES 

    NO
