Repair Procedures: Inspection: Replacement

  1. Remove the drain plug (A), allow the oil to drain out and then reinstall the drain plug.

    Tightening Torque: 

    58.9-78.5 N.m (6.0-8.0 kgf.m, 43.4-57.8 lb-ft)

    NOTE: The existing oil drain plug gasket must be replaced with new one. (Do not reuse it.)
  2. Remove the oil filler plug (A).

  3. Fill the Manual Transaxle with Manual Transaxle oil through the filler hole.

    Specified Oil: 

    SAE 70W, API GL-4

    Capacity: 

    1.6-1.7 L (0.42-0.45 U.S.gal., 1.69-1.80 U.S.qt., 1.41-1.50 lmp qt.)

    NOTE: Make sure that oil level is at the proper level (A).

  4. Install the oil filler plug (A).

    Tightening Torque: 

    58.9-78.5 N.m (6.0-8.0 kgf.m, 43.4-57.8 lb-ft)
