DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Response rate monitor
  1. Poor connection
  2. HO2S (B2/S1)
  3. PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine at operating temperature
  • Engine run time longer than 60 sec.
  • Drive at a steady speed between 72-88 km/h (45-55 mph)
  • Engine Coolant greater than 70°C(158 °F)
  • No disabling faults
Threshold value
  • The calculated response rate is too slow (out of threshold in PCM)
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
