Signal Circuit Inspection
- IG "OFF" and disconnect HO2S (B2/S1) connector.
- IG "ON".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 1 (high) terminal of HO2S (B2/S1) harness connector and chassis ground.
Measure voltage between Pin No. 2 (low) terminal of HO2S (B2/S1) harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : 0.5V (high) & 0V (low)
- IG "OFF" & Disconnect PCM connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (high) terminal of HO2S (B2/S1) harness connector and chassis ground.
Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (low) terminal of HO2S (B2/S1) harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : ∞ (Infinity)Ω
- Is the measured Value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "Verification Of VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
