Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Detach the gear boots (A).

  2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the console upper cover (A).

  3. Disconnect the multimedia jack connectors (A).

  4. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the parking brake cover (A).

  5. Remove the hole cover (A).

  6. Remove it console side cover (A) by pushing it rearward.

    Information 

    • When installing, insert the front of console side cover (B) to hook (A).

    Information 

    • When installing, insert the front of console side cover (B) to hook (A).

  7. After loosening the mounting screws and bolts, then remove the floor console assembly (A).

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector is connected properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips.

  1. To remove the gear knob (A) and gear boots (B) pull both of it up.

  2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the console upper cover (A).

  3. Disconnect the indicator connector (A) and start/stop button switch connector (B).

  4. Disconnect the multimedia jack connectors (A).

    • Console Upper Cover Connector Mounting Location

    1. Multimedia jack connector
    2. Start/stop button switch connector
    3. Indicator connector
  5. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the parking brake cover (A).

  6. Remove the hole cover (A).

  7. Remove it console side cover (A) by pushing it rearward.

    Information 

    • When installing, insert the front of console side cover (B) to hook (A).

    Information 

    • When installing, insert the front of console side cover (B) to hook (A).

  8. After loosening the mounting screws and bolts, then remove the floor console assembly (A).

  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector is connected properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips.
