- Vehicle speed less than 3 mph (4.82 km/h) for 14 seconds equal to or over 5 times, and air mass flow less than 24 kg/h.
- Vehicle speed greater than 37 mph (59.54 km/h) for 8 seconds equal to or over 2 times, and air mass flow greater than 40 kg/h and less than 300 kg/h.
- ECTS under 75 °C (167 °F) during engine cranking.
