DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Evaluate Upstream O2 Sensor Heater performance
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty related fuse
  • Open/Short in Power Circuit
  • Open/Short in Heater Control Circuit
  • Faulty Upstream O2 Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage higher than 10V and lower than 16V
  • Upstream O2 sensor normal heating time is greater than 2s
Threshold Value
  • Upstream O2 sensor tip Temp. lower than 1, 391°F (755°C)
Diagnostic Time
  • 1s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
