Repair Procedures: Disassembly

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the steering wheel assembly.

    (Refer to Steering System - "STEERING WHEEL ")

  3. Loosen the screw and then remove the steering back cover.

  4. Disconnect the remote control switch connector.

  5. Loosen the screw and then remove the remote control switch.

  6. Disconnect the heated pad connector.

  7. Loosen the screw and then remove the remote control switch from the bezel.

  8. Loosen the bolts and then remove the damper.

  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
