Circuit Inspection

ECM INSPECTION

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
3. Ignition "ON".		 ECM connector 51 (ON/START Input) Chassis ground - B+
ECM connector 73 (Memory Power) Chassis ground - B+
1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.		 ECM connector 1, 3, 5 (Ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
Good Go to "Component Inspection" procedure below.
No Good Repair open or short in circuit and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
