Function Of Safety Power Window: Notes

Safety function is activated whenever driver door power window auto-up switch is operated.
- Safety function condition
When a force of 100 N (using the 10 N/mm spring) is detected while rolling up the window, the window will reverse.
- Reversing distance of window (not activated when holding the auto-up switch)
- When a jamming object is detected between 4 mm - 250 mm from top of the door.
→ Window reverses and pulls down to 300 mm from top of the door frame.
- When a jamming object is detected over 250 mm from top of the door.
→ Window reverses and pulls down to 50 mm from jamming position.
- When a jamming object is detected between 4 mm - 250 mm from top of the door.
- Reversing distance of window (while holding the auto-up switch)
- When a jamming object is detected while holding the auto-up switch.
→ Window reverses and pulls down to 25 mm from jamming position.
- Auto-up function is not available during the 5 seconds from the above condition
→ When holding the auto-up switch, window operates in the manual-up mode. (Safety function is not activated.)
- When holding the auto-up switch after 5 seconds from the above condition.
→ Window reverses and pulls down to 25 mm from jamming position.
- When a jamming object is detected while holding the auto-up switch.
- Safety function deactivated area
Safety function is not available in 4 mm from top of the door.
