Repair Procedures: Replacement: [Rear]

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
    NOTE: After disconnecting the cables, wait at least 30 seconds.
  2. Remove the rear seat back assembly.

    (Refer to Body - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  3. Remove the side airbag module (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    6.0 - 8.0 N.m (0.6 - 0.8 kgf.m, 4.4 - 5.9 lb-ft)

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
