Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal (A).

    Battery negative (-) terminal tightening nut:

    4.0 ~ 6.0 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 3.0 ~ 4.4 lb-ft)

  3. Disconnect the battery sensor connector (A).
  4. Remove the battery sensor after loosening the sensor cable flange mounting bolts (B).

    Battery sensor cable flange mounting bolt (Chassis ground):

    21.6 ~ 32.4 N.m (2.2 ~ 3.3 kgf.m, 16.0 ~ 23.9 lb-ft)
