Check Short to Ground in FPS Power Circuit
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect the FPS and ECM connectors.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (Power) terminal of FPS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: ∞ (infinite)Ω
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the FPCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
