DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring - low
  • Short to ground in signal harness
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty IATS
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage > 6V
  • Time after start > 105s, if air temperature at start-up > -30°C (-22°F)
Threshold Value
  • IAT voltage < 0.13V
  • IATS output voltage represent a short to ground
Diagnostic Time
  • 10s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 Driving cycles
