Driver Airbag (DAB) is installed inside the steering wheel and is electrically connected to SRSCM with a clock spring. It protects the driver from impact by deploying a bag when frontal crash occurs. The SRSCM determines the deployment of Driver Airbag (DAB).

CAUTION: Never attempt to measure the circuit resistance of the airbag module (squib) even if you are using the specified tester. When the circuit resistance is measured with a tester, accidental deployment of airbag may result in serious personal injury.
