| Case 1 |
DTC Strategy |
- Characteristic line strong shift to rich
|
- Poor Connection
- Faulty HO2S
- Faulty ECM
|
| Enable Conditions |
- Upstream O2 sensor operative readiness is detected.
- Downstream O2 sensor operative readiness is detected
- Active test is not activated.
- Catalyst purge after fuel cut off is not activated.
- Engine speed is faster than 576 RPM
- Mass air flow is lower than 83g/s
- Exhaust gas temperature model is between 300°C (572°F) and 800°C (1472°F)
- Stable driving condition:
- Filtered engine RPM is 500 RPM faster than actual RPM
- Filtered air mass is 0.6g/revolution greater than actual air mass.
- Filtered lambda value is 15% greater than actual lambda value.
- Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
|
| Threshold Value |
- Upstream lambda (rich) is lower than 0.9 and Downstream O2 signal (lean) is lower than 0.2V
|
| Diagnosis Time |
- 5 to 100s (depending on intake air mass)

DTC Strategy |
- Characteristic line middle shift to rich
|
| Enable Conditions |
- Fuel cut off is not activated.
- Full load is not activated (gas pedal value is less than 90%)
- Catalyst overheating prevention is not activated.
- Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
|
| Threshold Value |
- Lambda value is lower than 1.05 when lambda set point is equal to 1.15.
|
| Diagnosis Time |
- 10s after lambda set point shift to corresponding side)
