Repair Procedures: Installation

WARNING:
- Be sure to read and follow the "GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION & CAUTION " before doing any work related with the high voltage system. Failure to follow the safety instructions may result in serious electrical injuries.
- Be sure to shut off the high voltage before doing any work related with the high voltage system (Refer to "HIGH VOLTAGE SHUT-OFF PROCEDURE "). Failure to follow the safety instructions may result in serious electrical injuries.
- Install the DC fuse in the reverse order of removal.
Inspection
WARNING:

- Be sure to shut off the high voltage before doing any work related with the high voltage system (Refer to "HIGH VOLTAGE SHUT-OFF PROCEDURE "). Failure to follow the safety instructions may result in serious electrical injuries.
- Shut off the High Voltage circuit.
(Refer to Hybrid Control System - "HIGH VOLTAGE SHUTOFF PROCEDURE ")
- Remove the air cleaner and air duct.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Disconnect the power cable (A) and inverter power cable (B).
- Remove the DC fuse cover (A) after loosening the mounting hexagon head bolts.
DC Fuse cover mounting bolt:
4.9 - 6.9 N.m (0.5 - 0.7 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.0 lb.ft)
- Remove the seal cover (B) using a pliers (A).
- Check the continuity between ends of the DC fuse.
Specification: Less than 1Ω [20°C (68°F)]
