Variant Coding Procedure

Ignition switch "OFF"
Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Ignition switch "ON"
Select "Vehicle S/W Management " on KDS/GDS.
Perform "LKAS/LDWS Variant Coding" in "Vehicle S/W Management " with KDS/GDS.

Clear any DTCs stored in the system with KDS/GDS.
Re-check DTC in the system with KDS/GDS.
Did the same DTC is stored in the system?
YES
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If no problems still occurs, replace LDWS ECU and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
NO
- Fault might be caused by not performing variant coding after LDWS ECU replacement. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
