Monitor DTC Status

  1. Connect the GDS and select "System" → "CLU" → "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)".
  2. Click the "DTC Status" to check the DTC information.
  3. Read the "DTC Status" parameter, and Record all DTCs, DTC state and freeze frame data.

  4. Is the same DTC set again?

    YES 

    • Verify the system specifications of the vehicle, and conduct "Vehicle S/W Management"

      → "CLU Variant Coding" in line with the data.

      → Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

    NO 

    • This can be CLU* memory was not cleared after repair.

      → Erase the DTCs, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

    • This can be an intermittent fault caused by Poor Contact in CLU*'s connector.

      → Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

      → Repair or replace the harness/connector as necessary, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

    NOTE: CLU*: "INSTRUMENT CLUSTER"
    ESC*: "ESP CONTROL MODULE"/"ESC CONTROL MODULE"
