Circuit Inspection

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
HECU connector (With EPB) 15 (P-CAN high) HECU connector (With EPB) 16 (P-CAN low) Approx. 60Ω
HECU connector (W/O EPB) 14 (P-CAN high) HECU connector (W/O EPB) 2 (P-CAN low) Approx. 60Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
HECU connector (With EPB) 1, 30 (Memory power) Chassis ground - B+
HECU connector (W/O EPB) 1, 25 (Memory power) Chassis ground - B+
HECU connector (With EPB) 17 (ON/START) Chassis ground - B+
HECU connector (W/O EPB) 29 (ON/START) Chassis ground - B+
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
HECU connector (With EPB) 14, 46 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
HECU connector (W/O EPB) 13, 38 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "ON".
  2. Connect VMI to KDS and launch the oscilloscope.
