DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the actual engine idle speed deviation from the target engine speed
  • Intake system for blockage
  • Throttle plate for carbon deposits
Enable Condition
  • Engine coolant temperature is greater than 74°C (165.2°F)
  • Time elapsed after engine start is more than 5s (Pedal value = 0% and vehicle speed = 0km/h (0mph))
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Actual engine speed is 100RPM lower than target engine speed
  • Engine speed is too low
Diagnostic Time
  • 17s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
