Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the KDS when replacing with a new TCM.

  2. Remove the battery.

    (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")

  3. Disconnect the TCM connectors (A).

  4. Remove the TCM (A) after loosening the bolts.

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  5. Remove the TCM (A) after removing the nuts from the bracket.

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
