Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION: Put on gloves to protect your hands.

NOTE:

When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
Take care not to scratch the body surface.

Remove the tailgate trim.
(Refer to Tailgate - "TAILGATE TRIM ")
Remove the rear wiper motor.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "REAR WIPER MOTOR ")
Disconnect the back view camera connector (A).

Loosen the tailgate back panel mounting nuts.

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the tailgate back panel (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.
