Repair Procedures: Inspection

MDPS power pack assembly failure can be quickly diagnosed using the vehicle diagnostic system (KDS).
1. Self-diagnosis: Checking failure and providing DTC code.
2. Current data: Checking the system input/output data state.
3. Actuation test: Checking the system operation condition.
4. Additional function: Controlling other features including system option setting, calibration adjustment and other function.
NOTE: When a DTC related to MDPS motor occurs, check the connectors and wiring. If there is no problem, replace the motor.
