Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the main crash pad assembly.

    (Refer to " Replacement  ") 

  3. Remove the knee airbag (KAB).

    (Refer to " Removal  " ) 

  4. Remove the parking collision-avoidance assist (PCA) unit.

    (Refer to " Removal  ") 

  5. Remove the parking collision-avoidance assist (PCA) unit bracket (A) by loosening the mounting bolts and nuts.

  6. Remove the mode control actuator (B) by loosening the mounting screws after disconnecting the connector (A).

  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
